Big Boy Bed

Well, the big boy bed is working out pretty well at bedtime. I only fuss for 20 minutes and then I'm out cold for the night. Nap time is a different story. I fuss, brush my teeth with A&D ointment, play with toys, oh...and take all my clothes out of my dresser. It might be awhile before this bed works well during the day!

Perhaps I need to get some real wood blocks for my birthday?

Trouble

Driving in Circles

We went for a walk tonight and when we got home I decided to play with my car. I really like the furniture being off the patio because now I can do doughnuts!

Go Cardinals!

Football

We love listening to the Iowa State football games on the radio! We can't wait until we are big enough to go to a game with Daddy! Go State!

What a Morning

Parker took a great nap, while I.....

painted, got my hair cut, and took a bath! You can see how much I needed the bath!

Drink

I want a drink of water. I can get the water to come out, but, unfortunately, all of the water lands on my shirt!

All Grown Up

Look at me! This was a picture of me in my new big boy bed last night. I slept really well. I only fell out of bed once. That scared me, but I still went back to sleep in my bed. When I woke up this morning, I grabbed my blanket and headed for Mom and Dad's bed. It was great to see how happy they were that I slept in until 7:30!

I picked out my fireman pajamas and Parker's fireman blanket for my first night in a bed. I also made sure that Curious George was close by to watch me sleep.

Fire Gloves

I've got my fire boots and fire jacket, but I don't have any fire gloves. The best I could find in our house was oven mits. Maybe Papa can find me a pair of fire gloves.

Hip Hip Hooray!!!

Today was my first accident free potty training day. I was so excited that I tried to give Cy a big hug!

Bath Time

When I woke up from my morning nap, Aiden was taking a bath. He was nice enough to share his bathtub with me. It sure made me happy!


Aiden wasn't as happy as me wearing the bath towel, but he was happy sharing his bath with me.

House Cleaning

Who knew cleaning the house could be so much fun?!?!

Lunch with the Regennitters

Bedfore lunch, Debbi taught me how to bounce on Zoe's ball.

After lunch she was busy holding Parker.

We also played with bean bags. It was a lot of fun, and I was a good obsticle to make the game harder!

I was sad to leave. Mom says that in a few years this will be a picture of me playing with a real gaming system, for now, it's just the GPS navigator.

Boys Night

Since it is fall again, boys night has returned to the Leiran household.

4 Month Dr. Appointment

I had my 4 month check up today. I am getting very big! I weighed in at 15 lbs 15 oz (75th percentile) and I measured 26 1/4 in tall (90th percentile) and my head was 16 3/4 in (60th percentile). I'm almost heavy enough to wear 9 month clothes, but I'm certainly too tall for my 6 month clothes already! We were at the doctor's office a long time (1.5. hours) I thought Mommy was going to pull all of her hair out while waiting - Aiden and I don't like to wait and we don't like shots. Luckily, We both got our vaccines and we made it home. Aiden didn't even have an accident! Mommy says we are staying home the rest of today. Thank goodness...I hope she will cuddle me all afternoon!

Tired Boy

I was watching Mommy make dinner, but that didn't seem like a lot of fun since I don't get to eat real food yet. I even kept sleeping with Aiden running circles around me!

Potty

I'm on Day 4 of potty training. Yesterday, I was checking out Bandit's potty. Mommy told me it was just for Bandit. Today, Bandit was checking out my potty and I told him, "no, My Potty!" Mommy told me that if I used it, then Bandit would know that it was mine, so I marked my territory.

Big Boy

Something is different. Can you tell what it is? Perhaps its the glass of milk instead of a sippy cup or perhaps it's the underwear and no diaper. Any way you look at it, I'm becoming a very big boy!

Park

Daddy is trying to teach me how to kick my legs when I swing. I was kicking, but it just wasn't quite right!

I also like the slide with a big drop. I love moving quickly.

And of course, I love to swing fast. For that, I need to have Daddy push me.

Watching

Parker watches everything I do. I think he'll be running beside me in no time!
