Trick or Treat

Since we went Trick or Treating last night, we were going to go out to a few houses in our neighborhood tonight and then just hand out candy. However, the plans changed as soon as we realized just how much fun handing out candy was. We stood at the door and yelled at the kids to come to our house for 2 pieces of candy (most kids got more than 2 pieces). We also took candy down to the end of the driveway so that some children didn't have to come up to the house. We made sure that parents got candy as well as children. Somehow we ran out of candy early, guess we need to buy more next year!

Fall Birthday Bash / Halloween Party

There are so many of us in our playgroup that have fall birthdays that we had a big birthday bash for everyone. We also celebrated Halloween. There were presents,


costumes (thanks Super Logan),


tattoos,


crafts and cake! It was AWESOME!

Begger's Night

We decided to meet up with the Hutchinson's for Begger's Night in Ankeny this year. For some reason, they let Zoe sit between us for dinner!


All dressed and ready to go. It was a little cold, so of course we are covered in coats.


Aiden and Zoe sure could go a long way (and I'm sure they would have gone longer if they would have realized there were houses we didn't go to), but I could hardly keep up by the end. Good thing Daddy was able to carry me!

I got all dressed up and went to church this morning. I did better in the nursery than Parker did!

John Deere Trunk or Treating

Spider man and a dinosaur had a great time bouncing around!

They also enjoyed riding on the hay ride with Daddy and

Yoda!

Trunk or treating was pretty fun.

But I'm pretty sure the best part of all was eating candy for dessert!

Birthday Party

It's time for my birthday party. Lots of people came to celebrate, but many also wanted to meet Mr. Emery.



Opening presents was a lot of fun. Parker even took a few pictures for Allison to remember what I got!


My favorite gift was probably the Legos! Peter helped me build a few different things.


My birthday cake had bats and jack-o-lanterns on it. I was very proud of that cake!


It tasted great as well.

Reiman Gardens

We had a great time at Reiman Gardens this morning checkingout all the butterflies.



We are getting much better at walking slowly in there and trying to spot all the different kinds of butterflies.


The nice lady working there let me touch all the different dead butterflies that they had found that morning. I was just a little excited to be able to hold them and flip them over to see how their colors were different on different sides.
