Yummy....I love Oreos!

New stroller

I helped Mommy get the new double stroller all put together this morning. It was a lot of fun playing with all the different piecces and climbing all over it to see where things go.


Here it is all put together, just waiting for my brother to join me.


Mommy put the brakes on, so I am climbing up and down it. I love to get myself into my seat, but sometimes I get stuck and Mommy has to pull me out, but then I just climb right back into my seat!

Getting ready.....

I went with Mommy to the doctor on Friday, and they told her that she was getting big. I thought we should get the new pack n' play out and ready. I thought I should test out all of the features just to make sure it would be safe for my brother. So far so good, but I might need to do a little more testing...

Cookies

I decided to help Mommy make a batch of cookies today. I got it all figure out, you have to put the oven mit on your hand before you can open the oven.

Watching TV

I have been very tired today, but just wouldn't sleep. When Daddy came home, he took over watching me so Mommy could have a break. We watched Curious George on TV. Mommy says that we are going back to my early bedtime tonight....we'll see about that......

Out in the yard

I roamed around the yard this morning. I really liked the texture of the pine tree out in the corner of the yard.

PB&J

Yummy...Mommy made me 2 slices of PB&J toast for breakfast this morning. I love when I get toast for breakfast, but boy am I messy!

I'm a fish!

This is my latest bath time fun thing to do. I like to lay on my stomach and kick my legs. Daddy thinks I'm trying to swim

17 months

I never thought I would be able to wear my short-alls for my 17 month photo!

Foosball

Daddy and I took on Michael and Emily at a game of foosball. That was a lot of fun!


Since Daddy and I won the first game, I thought I'd help out Michael and Emily. They did a little better with my help!

Grown up

I have grown big enough that now I fit into all of my 18 month clothes. Look at how grown up I look!

Come home, Daddy!

My favorite food that Daddy makes me is french toast. Mommy made some to get me ready for Daddy coming home tonight. I hope he makes it home before bedtime!

Good Morning!

Well, the bath worked! I woke up a couple of times in the middle of the night, but I always got myself back to sleep. I went to bed at 8 PM, and this is how happy I was to see Mommy at 8 AM.

Bath time

I thought a good bath might help me sleep better than last night - although, just about anything would be better than last night! It's good to be home and Bandit agrees. He has followed us around the house and bath time wasn't any different. Good night!

Oh, what a drive!

We had quite a trip back home today. I did pretty good from Waterville to Aunt Emily's house. I didn't feel like eating any lunch (thanks anyway Emily!), but I enjoyed running around and playing with the really big exercise ball. The car trip after that was rather interesting. I spent about 20 minutes playing/fussing myself to sleep. Here's what I looked like for the next 20 minutes.


I abruptly woke up, and this is what I looked like for the next 30 minutes.


Mommy decided that my throat and head must hurt just from screaming for so long, so she pulled over and gave me some ibuprofen. Here's what I looked like 10 minutes later.


After a little while of just staring around the car and out the window, Mommy gave me a very appropriate book, 'My Many Colored Days'. I read my books for the remainder of the car ride home.

Out and about

This morning, Mommy took me to visit Papa at work. He really enjoyed seeing me. When I got home from running around, I took a really good nap. When I woke up, Papa was home and ready to work! We had to go up to the fire station to fix a valve. I didn't mind. When we were done, I got to play with the trucks!


We had time to play as well. I really like playing with the train and pushing the track off the table and all over the floor. Papa just keeps putting it back together for me.


After dinner, Jim came over to play with me. In this picture, he is warming my hands up because they felt really cold. I sure didn't mind!


Kurt also came over. He was helping me with the top.


I had to say bye-bye to Papa and Grandma as we are leaving in the morning and won't see them. I was very upset. I've been having so much fun here that I don't want to leave.

Afternoon fun

Papa came home early from work to play with me, so I took a short nap so I could play with him as much as possible.


Taking a short nap didn't slow me down. Everytime Papa sat down, I would grab his hand and drag him somewhere in the house to play with me.


Papa let the kitty come in the house to play with me. It was fun to try and sit on the kitty (just like I try to sit on Bandit all the time)!


When all the fun was over, Grandma gave me a bath in the sink. She has a large sink, but I think I might out grow it pretty soon.

Morning fun

This is my new shirt that Grandma got me. I think it's very fitting!



Grandma has an outside kitty. I played with her through the glass door for about 20 minutes.
