Reiman Gardens

We were pleasantly surprised by the new exhibit at Reiman Gardens today.  Look at how beautiful this butterfly is!

Momma's boys!

We did a LOT of running and also had other kids follow us up on all the different paths.

This Lego guy was working MUCH too hard!

Who can miss a photo op with the big gnome?

This was one of our favorite Lego creations.  It's an acorn that is beginning to grow into a tree!

We've been to the gardens a few times, but this is the first time we found this musical instrument.  We LOVE it!

As you can see, Parker is some sort of contortionist!

Before we left, we check out the butterfly garden.  We loved it and did very well.  Mommy and Daddy even want to bring us back again!

Pants

Mommy told me I had to get pants on before I could eat dinner.  What she didn't tell me was that they had to be MY pants.  Emery's pants make some pretty sweet skin-tight capri's.

Look at the beautiful Easter eggs we decorated.  We even got Daddy to join us!

Kite Flying/Pizza Eating/Easter Egg Hunting

We invited the Hutchinson's over for a kite flying, pizza eating, and egg hunting fun evening.  I was thrilled to show of my new kite.

Emery had a great time on his blanket and then rolling and crawling all the way down the lawn.

The pizza was great, and surprisingly, they let us sit by each other! (Perhaps it was to keep the cheese away from Logan!)

We finished eating first, so we sat and read some stories while everyone else was finishing up with their food.

Chris and Daddy hid the eggs well, but we had a GREAT time hunting for them!  We often stopped after finding 1 egg to open it up to see what was inside.

Even Emery found a few!

 

All in all, a great evening was had by all.  We can't wait until we get to hunt for eggs again!
