The best toy EVER!

Family of 8

 
We  are now a family of 8!  We picked up these two kitties at the shelter  last night.  We just went to look, but the boys bonded so well with  these two that we couldn't leave them behind.  They want to run and play  with Bandit already, although he isn't quite so sure yet, but I'm not  worried about him coming around.  The black one looks VERY similar to bandit only slightly smaller  and a little bit difference of where the black is on their white noses,  but almost twins!  He alos enjoys playing all of the time.  In fact, it is very hard to type this post as he is trying to attack the letters as I type them on the screen!  The grey cat is a little calmer, but still playful.  Currently, he is playing with the boys through the door.  He is a great cuddler.  We aren't sure what to name them yet, but hopefully, we can pick some good names soon!

Bedtime Stories

I'm ALL ready for bed, but I will only read bedtime stories while sitting in this laundry basket saying "freight train" as well as I possibly can.

Engineers in the Making

Certainly Logan and I can figure out how to put this drum set back together, right?

Play Date

We had a play date with Isaiah.  It was so much fun being pulled around in this little red wagon!

We also enjoyed piling on top of Isaiah.  What a great afternoon!

Pump It Up With Preschool

Aiden and Parker's preschool classes studied fitness before Christmas.  Here is the video their classes made.  Parker isn't in the video because he was getting tubes on the day they video taped, but he still LOVES to watch and exercise right along!  I love the pushups and the hool-a-hoop!

Lunch

I'm becoming quite a chef by cooking as much as I possible can with Daddy.  I love it!

Happy Birthday, Daddy

We made Daddy hot fudge pudding cake for his birthday, yum!

We also got him Back to the Future on blu-ray.  We are so excited to watch!

Light Swiches

I'll do just about anything to get my hands on a light switch!

Children's Sermon

This morning we headed to church and the children's sermon was HILARIOUS!  Pastor Scott was talking about parties and if we liked them.  Of course, we had to mention that today is Daddy's birthday.  Pastor Scott also talked about what fun things we do at church.  We had to mention that we had a lot of fun at church when Liam was sick and pucking.  I don't know why he didn't think that was fun, but we really had a lot of fun that night with Liam's sisters playing superheros!  We sure had all of the adults laughing at all our stories.  Emery even made it through the nursery and through the children's sermon without getting to upset.  It's a good thing he didn't see Mommy!

Star of the Week

The coolest part of being Star of the Week is that your family comes to school and reads stories.  Daddy even took some time off from work to read to my class!  We read Moose Tracks by Karma Wilson and The Terrible Plop by Ursula Dubosarsky.  We had a great time and I hope that Mommy and Daddy can come back to school again soon!

Toys

I would really like to go swimming again!

This morning I've found the dinosaur flashlight and I love that it says, "ROAR".  I make it roar and then I roar right back at it!

Sibling Love

I missed my brothers while they were away at school.

S'mores Cookies

We made some S'mores cookies to send to school tomorrow for Aiden and Parker's teachers.  Of course, we had to sample, in case you were wondering.

Angry Birds Star Wars

We are playing Angry Birds Star Wars.  The red ones are Luke, the blue ones are the X-Wing pilots, the black ones are Obi-Wan, and the brown ones are Chewbacca.  The green ones are all the pigs of the evil empire!

Emery just laid back and watch us fight it out!

Pancakes

Yep, Skippy likes pancakes also!

Skippy Jon Jones

Guess who is the Star of the Week at preschool next week?  Aiden!  The Star of the Week gets to bring home Skippy Jones Jones and treat him like one of the family for the weekend.

Daddy has to work this weekend, so he came home a little early and we drove up to Reiman Gardens. I think Skippy likes it here!

 This is what we are looking at!  Snails!  They are EVERYWHERE today and we had to watch very closely so we did not step on them.

Of course, we had to hit up Hickory Park before we headed home.  Skippy really wanted to eat all of my food!

Oil Change

Mommy and I took the van in for an oil change this morning.  I played in the kids room for awhile.

I started to get a bit restless, so Mom let me go check out all of the different cars.  I like the smaller sporty ones!

All of that work, made me really tired.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

YUMMY!  Nothing is better than Mom's chocolate chip cookies straight out of the oven!

Peek-A-Boo

We love playing peek-a-boo through the loft of the barn!

Winter Party

 
Daddy took a little time this morning off from work to join us for our winter parties at school. It was suppose to be in December, but it got moved to January because of the blizzard.  We had a great time!

 
We even got to exchange presents with our friends!  We each got a new book.  What a great party!

15 Month Well Check

I'm not very happy at the  doctor's office unless Mommy is caring me. I've had an ear infection for half a week and my current antibiotic just isn't working.  We are all hoping a new one will work this time around!  I am 31 inches long (75th percentile), 27 pounds 1 ounce (93rd percentile), and my head is 19 inches around (85th percentile).  I am growing like a weed!

Quiet Time

Today, Mom told me that I needed to have quiet time in my room.  I was really tired after I read through the entire stack of books Mom left me!
