Helper

I am Mommy's Little Helper.  With this smile, she lets me help out whenever I want.

Tired

Well, I haven't taken a morning nap in FOREVER, but getting up at 7:00 to get the boys to preschool is HARD on me!

Carrier

I don't know why the cats don't like getting in here, it's kind-of fun!

Polk City Park

We played with the Hutchinson's in Polk City at the town square.

As always, the BIG slide was a hit.

We played a little freeze tag.

Of course, we had to teach Zoe how to play.  Once she figured out how fast we were, she no longer wanted to play with us.

We also had a great time swinging.

Quiet Time?

Perhaps preschool was a bit much for me today, I REALLY needed a nap during quiet time.

First Day of Preschool - 2012

Great Grandma's 91st Birthday Party

Great Grandma Fegley turns 91 on Monday.  Of course, that means one thing, dinner out at the Brown Bottle!  We won't complain.  It also means that we get to play with our cousin Holden (pictured on left)!

By the time dinner was over, Emery decided that Aunt Emily was okay.

We had a great time playing with Allison and Trent!

Happy birthday, Great Grandma (pictured second from left)!  We hope you have a great one!

Fridge

If the refrigerator is opened for more than half a second, I like to climb in it!

Quiet Time

Quiet time has been quiet different for us this week.  Mommy is making us get up really early in the morning so we can get use to school time.  Those early mornings sure cause the afternoons to be quiet!

Photographer

I really wanted to take up photography, so Mommy let me take a few pictures of my brothers this morning.  Not bad, if I do say so myself!

Play Date

This week, Logan and Zoe's Dad was out of town, so we went over to keep them busy.

The tunnel is always fun!

Emery and Logan participating in some side by side playing.  They really liked playing by each other, but didn't do so well if one of them had a toy that the other one wanted!

Emery loves all things musical!

Zoe was very set on making this HUGE tower just for Emery to knock over.  It took a few shots, but she finally got it built.

Emery REALLY likes being the wrecking ball!

4 Year Old Preschool Open House

Aiden's preschool open house was tonight.  Aiden was so excited that he could show Allison his class room.  His teacher is Ms. Jamie and he is VERY excited about a new year of school.  It just can't start soon enough!

Parks!

After church today, we decided to have a picnic and check out a lot of parks.  We started at Fort Des Moines.

We really enjoyed playing in the sand!

I am so big, I can climb up ANYTHING!

We also drive by quite a few parks, but decided that we wanted to head back to Jester Park and show Daddy how awesome it is!

Today, we hit a couple of the hiking trails.  We LOVE hiking and sure hope that Mom and Dad will take us more often.

After hiking, we headed back to the Nature Scape Park.

Look at Daddy and his baby Elk!

We saw lots of elk today, including me!

Iowa State Fair!

What could possibly have us this excited at the fair?

Turtles!  We spent a LOT of time at the Iowa DNR building checking out the fish, turtles, ducks, and other birds!

The next best thing was checking out this 9000 series tractor with Daddy.  Look, there is room for all of us in the cab.

There was also enough room in the wheel well to put our heads!

This wheel was big enough for BOTH of us to stick our heads in!

This tractor was a little smaller, but Mommy and Daddy let us climb up all by ourselves!  We LOVE the John Deere equipment.

Waiting for the Thank a Farmer magic show.

We didn't realize we were big enough to pick up calves!

The model train exhibit was great.  We had a lot of fun looking for tiny little objects.

Cotton Candy was our dessert of choice.  Who knew it was so sticky!

Back to the DNR building to watch the animals again before we left.  What a great morning!
