Reiman Gardens, Hickory Park, and Boone Scenic Valley Railroad

This morning, we headed to Reiman Gardens to meet up with Grandma and Great Grandma to celebrate our fall birthdays.
Reiman Gardens has started a major renovation project.  Can't wait to see what happens at the hillside garden.  The plans look amazing!

Throwing a few rocks into the pond looking for frogs.

Great Grandma really enjoyed all of the roses!

Mom and Great Grandma

Emery and Cy...we cannot pass Cy without getting a picture taken.

It wouldn't be a birthday celebration without heading to Hickory Park!

After lunch, we headed to Boone to ride the train!

The fall leaves were just starting to change and gave us some very beautiful sights.

Looking out over the river.

We also spent some time entertaining Great Grandma and teaching her about Pokemon!

Happy 95th Birthday, Great Grandma!

We are blessed to be able to celebrate this young lady's 95th birthday!  We decided to take her to the Amana Colonies for the day.

The boys checking out the swing.

My favorite niece

We saw lots of pretty flowers today.

We really liked the chocolate.

We headed over to a park for a little cousin bonding time.

Emery was king of the playground!

Great Grandma loved watching the kids run around and play.

Uncle Mike getting a free ride from Leah.

Cade was all smiles!

We ended the afternoon with some cupcakes.  Can't wait to celebrate Great Grandma's next birthday!

Reiman Gardens

For Parker's birthday, he wanted to check out the Lego display at Reiman Garden.  We invited Great Grandma Gertrude and Grandma Jo.

This flower and bee are huge and gorgeous.

Climbing all over the new wooden structure.

We even found the Chamber of Secrets!

Emery just perched up here.

A couple 4 generation photos!

We had a great morning!

The last Lego we found was this corn spider in the children's barn.

Of course, we can't celebrate a birthday without Hickory Park!

Easter with the Broadstons

Ready for a Denver Easter Egg hunt.

I followed Aiden.

He was thrilled with his eggs.

Great Grandma came over and had a great time holding Cade.

We did our own Easter egg hunt at home.  Uncle Mike had to search for Cade.

The boys looked all over.

They even had to climb a tree.

Our winner - Leah!

Uncle Mike had to climb a lot higher than the other kids.  It took him the longest to find all of his eggs.

Daddy keeping watch while...
Uncle Mike, Grandma Jo, and myself burned a huge bonfire.  This was a great day to celebrate Easter.
