BBQ

Michael and Emily invited all of us over for a BBQ. Aunt Emily sure had her hands full with Aiden and Elana. Aiden really liked giving her hugs!

Uncle Mike kept it nice and calm with me, but with Aiden on the other hand....

well, he got spun in circles.  Most of the time, he was clapping while being spun!

 
I wanted to check out the grass, but everyone seemed to be checking me out with my new ability of sitting.  I can do it for a short period of time, but I enjoy practicing every day!

Bathroom Fun

I was suppose to be brushing my teeth, but I fit just perfectly in the sink!


As you can see, I did brush my teeth a little bit.

Happy Birthday Great-Grandma

We got together to celebrate Great-Grandma's 88th birthday.  I sure enjoyed the frosting off the cake!

Parker showed Lori a few tips and tricks when it comes to text messaging.

It was getting cold out, so Lori was more than happy to wrap Parker up in her St. Louis Cardinals blanket.

Mommy wanted to stay and chat for awhile, so Lori gave us baths and got us ready for bed.

 Piglet was trying to teach me how to play the piano.

 

Of course, I had to try on some wooden shoes.  I was really upset when it was time to go home and I had to leave the shoes behind!

Stuck

It only took me twice to figure out that I really shouldn't try to go through the chair.

Slick Time-Out

These days, I've been spending more time in my room during time-outs. Most of the time, I just take all of my books off of my bookshelf. That is not the case today. Today, I also decided to take my diaper off and cover myself in globs and handfuls of Vaseline. It was left out after bath time last night, and I sure do like trying to rub it in myself.  I'm going to have the softest smoothest legs.  Mommy wasn't too happy, but it's a good thing that Mommy has experience catching greased pigs!

Funny Stuff

Babysitter

Allison was so nice and came and babysat Parker and I while our parents went out for lunch.



When they got back, we all went to the park to play. Allison was showing me how to play the drums. Even Parker had a great time hanging out in the shade!


I also wanted to show Allison my new skill. I sure love to gallop like a horse!

Crib Time

I was hanging out in my crib this morning enjoying my toy when....


Aiden decided he should show me how it works. Mommy had to actually help him into my crib(luckily), but we had fun playing together for a little while.

Video Chats

Mommy took a picture of us while we were video chatting with Papa and Grandma. It's a lot of fun with the new laptop since I can run around the family room while talking to my grandparents.

Friends

We had some friends over, which means lots of time outside and in the pool! We had a great time. By the end of the night, I wasn't in time-out every five minutes! I also, finally, realized I was really hungry and actually started to eat my hot dog and tomatoes. I can't wait to see everyone again.

Temper

I didn't want to go downstairs after taking down my nap, so I laid down to throw a fit. Mommy went downstairs to get the camera and I got up and ran around. The second I heard her coming back, I ran back to the top of the stairs and laid down in protest again!

Just Hanging Out

Joe is back in town this week and he was trying to teach me a karate chop.
