Living History Farms
We've been spending some time trading off children with the Gerstenbergers. Today, I took the boys and headed to Living History Farms!
Checking out a tepee at the 1700 Ioway Indian Farm.

Emery was thrilled that he helped get the eggs from the chickens.
Measuring how many "hands" tall we are at the 1900 Horse-Powered Farm.
We certainly loved checking out the horses.
Playing around while we wait for the John Deere tractor to take us back to the 1875 Town of Walnut Hill.

Day in Ames
We headed up to Ames and had a little bit of time to run around campus.

Waterville - Father's Day Weekend
We stopped in Elkader for lunch on our way to Waterville.
