Living History Farms

We've been spending some time trading off children with the Gerstenbergers.  Today, I took the boys and headed to Living History Farms!

Checking out a tepee at the 1700 Ioway Indian Farm.

Checking out the chickens at the 1850 Pioneer Farm.

Emery was thrilled that he helped get the eggs from the chickens.

Measuring how many "hands" tall we are at the 1900 Horse-Powered Farm.

We certainly loved checking out the horses.

Playing around while we wait for the John Deere tractor to take us back to the 1875 Town of Walnut Hill.

Some snacks on the wagon ride.

Pile on!

All of the boys were thrilled with the actual leeches at the drug store!
