Basketball Hole
Look at how hard we are working to get our basketball hoop installed!
We made a hole big enough for Parker to get into!
Long Day
Someone made a huge mess of perler beads and was told that he had to stay here until he cleaned them up....he ended up falling asleep instead!

Guitar Time
I enjoyed listening to Sarah play some guitar tonight. Normally, I miss out because I need to get the kids to bed, but tonight Sarah was looking for some place to practice.
Yellow River
It has been so incredibly hot, that Papa and GG thought the boys needed to head over to yellow river to play. Aiden worked on his cub scout fishing belt loop, and everyone had a great time enjoying the cold water. I took a lot of pictures and videos to remember how much fun we had!

Brandon's cousin Matt taught Aiden and Parker how to fish.

Waterville
Around noon today, we got a phone call that Uncle Kurt had died. We packed our bags and headed to Waterville, as quickly as we could. Somehow, the whole town seemed different as we drove in.
Iowa Historical Society and the Iowa State Capitol
This morning we checked out the State Historical Society museum with Grandma Jo, and Kristi and Carter Ritchie. There were lots of cool things for us to check out!
Can you tell who is who.....
Oh my!
After the museum, we walked with Grandma Jo over to the capitol grounds. Grandma Jo is standing on her county, Parker is standing on Papa and GG's county, and Aiden and Emery are standing on our county. The boys loved checking out this huge map!
Group shot out front.
A shot up at the dome.
The law library is gorgeous!
Emery was just about done....
The look into either the House or Senate.
Here's the Iowa Supreme Court room.
The bell from the USS Iowa.
This cool 3 story safe is located in the Secretary of State's office.
Model of the USS Iowa.
View from the capitol steps towards Des Moines.
