Dinner is in the Oven

Since I haven't been feeling so well, I haven't been eating so well. However, perhaps that will change when the tater-tot casserole comes out of the oven. I was so excited when Mommy put it in the oven, that I pressed my face right up against the oven door!

Sick again...arrgg!

I had a fever over the weekend. That seems to be gone, but I'm still coughing up a storm which is making it very hard to sleep. Mommy and Daddy have been giving me my neb treatment in the middle of the night to help me (and the rest of the house) sleep. I'm getting so good at the neb treatment that I can almost do it all by myself. Sometimes I need to be reminded to hold it up to my nose, but mostly, I just prefer to be cuddling while I do my neb treatment.

Mud Puddles

With all the rain in the past couple of days, I've been wanting to go out and play in the mud puddles, but Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let me. I decided that chocolate pudding is the next best thing!

Work, Work, Work!

Daddy runs a tight ship around here. He has barefoot and pregnant Mommy vacuuming, so I decided I should try to help her out as much as possible. I am quite the helpful little boy!

Left or Right Handed?????

Although Mommy and Daddy are pretty sure that I'm right handed, I like to make them question every once in awhile. I was concentrating very hard with both hands while coloring!

18 month Dr. appointment

I saw the doctor this morning. All in all, I'm doing well. We are going to try a couple of different meds to get my asthma taken care of for now. Hopefully, I'll be cough free by the time my brother arrives! I weighed in at the 26 lbs - 50th percentile (although a couple of weeks ago I weighed in at 26.5 lbs, perhaps I should have actually eaten my breakfast before my dr. appointment!), 32.75 inches - 60th percentile, and my head was 19.25 inches around - 80th percentile. The doctor was also impressed when I showed her that I could stack blocks 5 high - although I would still rather have somebody else stack them so I can just knock them over!

I got myself quite messy tonight eating fruit, so I'm ending the day with a good night bath. How relaxing!

Playing with Carrie

Carrie needed Daddy's help getting a new T.V., so we went shopping with her and helped her get it set up. I helped make sure that the picture quality was good.


I really liked turning the lamp on and off. It kept me entertained while Daddy was hooking up the T.V.

18 months old

I'm 18 months old today!


Mommy let me have a couple golden oreos to celebrate. As you can see, I like to eat the white stuff, then shove both entire cookies in my mouth!

Play Group

We had to drive to play group this week. I get bored in the car, but I didn't want to play with any toys - I wanted to be outside playing!


Mommy found it hard to get good pictures of me today. This looks like I'm playing nicely, but really I'm just good at stealing the toys away from the other kids.

Spoon

Today, I decided that I no longer like Mommy feeding me with a spoon - I'm not to bad at doing it all by myself.


I might be a little messy, but I get most of it in my mouth.


As you can see, I ate enough feeding myself that my belly looks just like Mommy's!

Happy Stacking!

I was so happy to see Mommy pull out the camera this morning. It's been awhile....

I also wanted to show off my stacking abilities. I haven't gotten anything to stack on top of the ball yet, but I'll get it figured out soon.

Fun

Cory and Allison stopped by last night to drop off our camera. They stayed for supper and played with me. I kept showing them my huge belly and my huge ball. Cory also let me play with his hat.

Play Group!!!

I haven't seen the other kids from play group since January. It was about time to see them again, so we invited them over. I was a little hyper to see them, but it was a lot of fun since Peyton can walk now, and Zoe is getting close! Holden sure liked to see Bandit also, so I showed them how Bandit loves kitty kisses. I can't wait to see them again next week. Thanks, Gail, for taking the photos

Baby Shower

We drove up to Grandma Jo's house for a baby shower for the new baby. I got a little restless, but Daddy turned on my cd of music and I quieted right down. I don't look comfortable, but I did take a really good nap on the way there!


Gerad and Sachie brought Giada to the shower. I really liked seeing her. I even tried giving her a hug.


Grandma has an old slide that I had a lot of fun playing on. I had a hard time getting my feet over it to go down feet first, so I just went down head first.


Bri and Lori got me a gift as well. I really like this book a lot! It's called Freight Tra

Uncle Mike played with me outside quite a bit also. He had balloons at the shower that he helped me play with. It was so much fun to get outside and run around.


After the shower, a few of us went out for dinner. As Mommy and Daddy were saying good-gye, I was showing Grandma all around the block!

Bye Bye Cough, Hello Sleep!

Mommy finally took me to the doctor yesterday for my cough. It's been keeping everyone up at night and causing me to be cranky lately. The doctor thinks I have asthma, so we are working through a couple of medicines to get me back to feeling good. This is a picture of Daddy and I watching Curious George as I got one of my nebulizer treatments. Last night, I woke up a little bit to cough, but not enough to wake up everyone! Today, I even took a nap without waking up screaming! I think I'm working my way back to healthy!
