Tubes x2

Mommy got us all checked in while Daddy dropped Aiden off at school.  Then, he joined us.  It was fun being out and about in our pajamas!

Emery, anxiously awaiting being able to hear and to hopefully not have to deal with all the ear pain associated with many ear infections.

Since we are getting 2 kiddos done this morning, they moved us to a special room with 2 recovery chairs and a T.V. just for us.  We did not have to leave this room once, which is also very different when you are only getting 1 child done.  Perhaps, just perhaps, this makes up on the fact that they indeed do not have a 2 for 1 deal.

Parker LOVED playing with this magnet maze toy.  He wanted so bad to take it home with us.

Emery post surgery.  We could hear him cry, but he calmed right down as soon as we gave him his sippy cup with milk.  The doctor said his ears were so bad, that we have to do his ear drops for at least a week.  I think they were much worse than they had expected or had seen the week before.

Next up, Parker.  He did a fantastic job.  Since this is his third time, I was well aware that he would leave for surgery screaming and return screaming when he woke up.  I am so thankful that I was wrong!  He left with the anesthesiologist just holding his hand and walking out the door.  When he returned, they wheeled him in on a gurney and he was just laying there looking around and very quiet.  They said that he actually woke up this way!  I guess when you start to get tubes put in EVERY year, you start to know how the whole thing works.  We are also very amazed that immediately after surgery we could already start to understand him better and no longer needed Aiden to be our translator!  Here's to hoping these two sets of tubes do their jobs and we don't have to do this again!
