Living History Farms

Waiting for the tractor to take us back in time to the 1700 Ioway Indian Farm

Isn't it pretty.

And they are off!

Pigs and baby pigs at the 1850 Pioneer Farm.

Making pickled tomatoes.

Checking out the chicken coop.  They had a great time feeding the chicken some clover.

Watching a little stream.

Petting horses at the 1900 Horse Powered Farm.

Look at that sewing machine.

Sitting outside on the front porch.

We went today to check out the John Deere blacksmith that was in town.

A storm came up quickly, so we took cover in the general store.

The workers knew just how to keep the boys entertained with a game of Hoop and Stick.
