Baptism

 

This morning started off with GG giving me a bath in our new kitchen sink!  I love how big it is!

Aiden and Parker watched as Pastor Scott put water on my head.

Aiden walked with us up and down the isle for everyone to see us.

I slept through cake time, but....

 

Aiden, Parker, and Holden sure enjoyed it, well at least the frosting!

Dental Check Up

Our dentist has moved into a new building.  This cool marble thing was AWESOME to watch in the waiting room!

Since I am now 4, I am old enough to have some x-rays taken.  How AWESOME is that?!?!?!

Emery was just chillin' in his car sear.

Once again, no problems getting me to put on headphones and watch a movie while they cleaned my teeth.


Parker was a different story, still won't sit in the big chair, but he had a great time playing with this magnetic table filled with spiders and scorpions!

Neb Treatments

This year has been awful on our coughs; we just can't seem to shake them. I'm getting so good at doing them, that I can do them without using my hands!

Entertaining

We were getting a little bit bored of reading to each other.

All of the sudden, we heard Mommy's Silhouette machine working hard in the other room. WOW! It was so exciting to see it working. Normally, she has it cutting stuff out, but today she was trying out her sketch pens and we could see exactly what it was doing. We can't wait until we can make stuff with her machine also!

Leap Day

Yeah! Daddy decided to take a half day of vacation for this year's Leap Day and take us to a place we could do lots of leaping! We sure had fun playing with Daddy at the bouncy house!


Emery stayed home with Mommy and got a nice nap in. I'm sure he'll be joining us for all of the leap day fun in 2016!

Sitting

Look at me sitting!  I can do it for awhile before falling over.

I also like to sit up against the couch with my bobby pillow.  It helps me reach my toys just a little bit easier.

Sometimes, I fall over, but... 

 
I don't mind because then I just rollover and start to explore some more!

Cutting

At preschool, they give us a capital and a lower case letter for the letter of the week. I love to use my scissors to cut out te letters before coloring them. This week I even cut out the letter S, it was a little tricky, but I got it!

Fun Times

We really like when Grandma Jo watches us, because she does puzzles with Parker and...


let's me play on her computer!


She also let Emery and I watch a little Wild Kratts!

5 months old

I'm 5 months old and LOVE my rice cereal. Mommy shouldn't turn her back for a second when my cereal is within reach. Guess it's bath time now!

Big Boy

Mommy was getting me dressed this morning and thought my 9 month onesie was getting a bit stretched. Could it be that at not even 5 months old, I could wear 12 month clothes? Well, what do you think? The pants are a bit long, but the onesie and jacket fit great! I guess it's about time to change out all the clothes in my dresser again!

Papa & GG

We are playing 5 monkeys jumping on the bed or was that 3 monkeys jumping on GG?


Papa brought us some pirate hats, AAARRRRrrrrrrrrrrr! Thankfully, no one had to walk the plank!

Yeah, I guess it's no fluke, 2 days in a row I got myself to fall asleep while jumping - such a rough life I have.....

Valentine's Day cards for Dad

We thought we should throw together some Valentine's day cards for Daddy so he could put them up at work tomorrow. We made sure to put LOTS of hearts on them, a little bit of coloring, and of course a few bad guy traps. Don't worry, if the bad guys get through the traps on Aiden's card, the final trap is a lava pit and no guy could make it out of there. We're happy we can keep Daddy safe this Valentine's day!

Coaching

We think we can get Emery to crawl across the room if we just keep 'coaching' him to go for toys.  It'll be awfully exciting the day he learns to roll all the way across the floor.

Valentines

We cleaned up our toys in record time so that we could work on making some valentines!


We will do just about anything if Mom will let us work with scissors!


We cut out hearts and...

a few of them turned into Batman Valentine's Day masks!

Sick

This has been a common sight in our house. Aiden came down with pink eye last Tuesday. Then he had fevers and a cough, so we had to go to the doctor Tuesday night and that continued until Wednesday sometime. He had to miss preschool Tuesday and Thursday and swimming lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday. We did send him for swim lessons on Thursday night so that he could pass out of this class. Parker came down with pink eye on Friday along with fevers and the dreaded cough; back to the doctor we went. Fevers continued for him through Saturday night hitting 103.7...ugh! Just as we thought we were all getting better, Emery came down with pink eye on Sunday. Luckily, we caught it fast enough that it didn't get too bad for him. Hopefully, this week is a little better and we'll stop spreading germs around this house!

SNOW!!!!!!

7 inches!


It took a lot of man power,


and a lot of help from Daddy,


and a couple of shovels full of snow thrown in by Parker, but...


we made our first BIG snowman! Hopefully, we can play outside again tomorrow!

Rolling Around

We are trying to teach Emery how to roll ALL over the living room instead of in a small area. We are sure he'll catch on to this VERY shortly!
