All dressed up and ready to run.....

Our sympathies go out to the Fegley family as their Grandpa/Father passed away earlier this week. Today we went to the funeral, but Mom and Dad thought I should run around a little bit before we got in the car to drive over to Pella. I sure liked running around. I wish the grass hadn't been so wet so that I could have been playing in it more!

Standing Tall

My firetruck is so much fun. Not only do I like to push it around the house, I also like standing in it!

Friends and Family

Daddy and Joe got back earlier than expected from their conference. They made it home intime for dinner with Allison. We had a lot of fun, but I think we were all pretty tired. It's been quite the week already.

Food!

Here's a picture of me eating romen noodles last night when Daddy was gone. I made such a mess that I had to go directly to the bath following dinner. It was great!

Dad is out of town....

Since Dad is out of town, Mommy took me to the park to cheer me up a little bit. I sure do like the swing. I really wish Mommy would have put me on the slide, but she kept telling me that was too much work without Daddy there with us. Can't wait to see you tomorrow night, Daddy!

I love food!

I just got done eating a snack. I ate about four times as many grapes as you see on my tray there. I like grapes almost as much as I love blueberries. Thank goodness since blueberries aren't always in season!

Big Head

I have a big head, but I love to put anything on it that will fit. Today I was playing with some tuperware. Check out this video!

Hayride and Bonfire

Holden's parents hosted a bonfire and hayride. I really liked the first half of the hayride, but then I just wanted to eat the hay or take handfuls of the hay and throw it. Mommy finally gave in and let me chew on the hay, just like cowboys do! I also liked checking out their John Deere mower and all the little kittens in the barn. I kept very busy as there was so much stuff to look at.

I see a fire truck....

I just wanted to thank Grandpa and Grandma for my fire truck. I love playing with it and I love when people push me around on it. I just can't wait until my legs are long enough to actually motor myself around the house on my fire truck!

Bath time

Though you can't tell by looking at these pictures, I've been feeling a little under the weather and teething on top of that the past couple of days. Allison gave me a bath tonight to help bring my fever down a little bit. I hope I sleep a little better tonight (so do Mommy and Daddy)!

Bathtub

I like my bathtub even if it's not in the bathroom, not filled with water, and well...upside-down.

New toy box

So I have a new toy box, but sometimes it's hard to find the toy I'm looking for....

Cicada

This insect was on our pergola making LOTS of noise. Daddy didn't believe us when we told him that it was the loudest insect we'd ever seen/heard before. Mommy took a picture so we could try to figure out what it is. Thanks Joe for helping us idenitfy it. It is a Cicado. I guess we were blessed to have seen it as they only live 30-40 days and they only hatch about every 17 years! Also, they are the loudest insect there is. You can hear it up to a half a mile away.

Getting what I want

Step 1: Get self into chair.


Step 2: Get a hold of pack-n-play.

Step 3: Go head first into pack-n-play.

Step 4: Smirk at Mommy knowing that I can do whatever I want!
