In the Middle

I was being a little crab because I wanted to be right in the middle of all the action, so Mommy moved me to my high chair. I was so happy to be able to see everything, that I fell asleep almost instantly!

Corn

I love corn!

Homeade Garlic

Dad was chomping away on pickled garlic that he'd made with Grandma. He gave me some, but said that I wouldn't like it. I showed him by finishing off the jar.

Rolling Over

Well, at 3 months and 1 day old, I did it! Mommy left me on my back, and I rolled over to my tummy! Perhaps I'll be crawling and walking earlier than Aiden did, but Mommy says that just isn't possible! I am so proud of myself!

3 months old

I'm 3 months old today and I am getting to be very big! I went into the doctor this morning for a weight check and weighed in at 14 lbs 9 oz. A few of my 3-6 month clothes are even starting to get tight on me! I'm trying very hard to catch up to Aiden in size!

Hanging Out

I like to relax in Parker's car seat. It's very comfortable and it rocks!

Outside

I went outside to play, but I saw Cole playing in his backyard. I really wanted to play with him, so I tried to climb their fence.


Then Daddy came outside, so I decided it wasn't so bad playing with my own toys. We played for a little while, but it was pretty hot out, so then I went inside and played in the bathtub.

Cat Nap

Here is my current favorite napping position. I like to suck on my left thumb while I rub whatever fabric is nearest to me between my fingers on my right hand.

Table

I really wanted to color, so Mommy got out my very own table and chairs. I made sure that Mommy knew that the extra chair was for her to color with me.

So Close....

I am so close to rolling from my back to my tummy, but my arm is in the way. Can you see how I dig my feet into the carpet. It won't be too long....

Potty Time

Sometimes, I am very interested in potty training and sometimes, I am not. Whenever I decide to try and go potty, I like to read many books and brush my teeth. I also greatly enjoy flushing the toilet and washing my hands. I would do that all day if I was allowed to.

Garage Sale

We went to several garage sales this morning along Iowa's longest garage sale. Mommy didn't buy much, but we had a great stroller ride and many compliments on how cute we are!

National Hot Air Balloon Classic

We went to the National Hot Air Balloon Classic in Indianola tonight. We met up with Allison and the Hutchinson's. These three balloons filled with air right in front of us. It was really cool to see them take off!

What a pretty sight seeing all of the balloons coming in and landing on the field in front of us.

I also tried my first corn dog on a stick. I lost the stick and mostly just ate the hot dog out of the breading.

Mommy and Daddy wanted a family photo, but I was only happy if Mommy was holding both me and Parker. Daddy stayed close just to make sure things didn't get out of control!

Dentist

I had my first dentist appointment this morning. Here I am playing in the waiting room.


Okay, so I didn't really have to sit up in this big chair to have them look at my teeth, but it was fun. The dentist said I am doing a very good job of brushing my teeth and being very helpful letting them look at my teeth.


They gave me a packet of teeth cleaning stuff including a toothbrush that I can run around the house with. They even gave Parker his very own toothbrush to play with. I also got a toy football to play with because I did so good. It was a lot of fun.

Car Rides

I read my book for the first 10 minutes of the car ride home, but then I got sleepy. I held on tight to the book while I slept so I wouldn't drop it.

Indoor Pool

I really wanted to play out with the hose at Grandma Jo's house, but Mommy said it was too cold. I didn't agree so I put my swim pants on over my clothes!


Perhaps it was a little too cold outside, but it was plenty warm inside. I broke in Grandma's new bath tub. As you can see, Aunt Lori helped me try out my new bath tub crayons!
