Wisconsin Dells, Day 2 - Part 2

After dinner, we headed back to the water park.  Parker really liked jumping on the lily pads.

Aiden enjoyed the easy water slide that he could go down all by himself.

Here is one of the water parks at our hotel.  We really liked this fort.  Every few minutes or so, the big bucket up on top would fill up and tip over.  It was so much fun to climb and jump and go down the water slides here.  Mommy and Daddy had a hard time trying to keep track of us.

Next to the big fort, was this little wading pool.  It was perfect for Emery and Parker, until Parker decided that it was fun to stand under that HUGE bucket!

This is the wave pool.  The orange and green slides next to the pool are the ones that Aiden enjoyed riding on.  Mommy didn't mind that Daddy doesn't like rides of any kind.

We spent a lot of time at this little kids wading pool area.

Daddy let us shoot him with water from the Jet skis.  That was so much fun!
Emery had a great time chillin' by the side of the pool watching Daddy run around like a mad man.  It was great!

Wisconsin Dells, Day 2 - Part 1

Breakfast this morning was at Paul Bunyan's Cook Shanty.  The boys and Daddy LOVED it and getting a pair of oxen antlers to wear!

We made it back to our hotel in time do to the wolf walk.  Here we are acting like turtles.

We made an awesome origami wolf at the end to take home with us.

After everyone was ready to go, we headed to Circus World!

We watched the circus and a miniature pony show.  It was a lot of fun.

At the end, they had all the kids come up into the circus ring.

Parker.

Of course we had to ride the carousel.

Aiden was a little scared about riding all by himself, but he did a great job.

The kids liked this circus car the most.

They even enjoyed playing at the little park inside the grounds.

The circus proved to be too much for 2 little boys!

Next up, dinner at Buffalo Phil's Pizza & Grille.  The kids were sure excited that the food was delivered to our table by model trains!

They also didn't mind that they got another set of antlers, buffalo ones, of course!

Wisconsin Dells, Day 1

We started off the morning eating breakfast at out lodge.  We quickly got ready to head down tot he water park at 9AM when it opened. We met up with the Hutchinson's and quickly found the kids all wanted to go different directions.  We swam for a couple of hours and then went for lunch at The Cheese Factory.  It was great and we also bought dessert to have later in the day!  After lunch, we had quiet time driving around.  I'm pretty sure that Daddy is the only one who saw all of the scenery.  After lunch, we met up with the Hutchinson's to play our first ever round of miniature golf at Pirate's Cove.

We were very excited to arrive and see Captain Blackbeard.

I was very happy that Zoe was along for the adventure!

Here we are, all ready to tee off at hole 1.

There was a lot of high sticking, although we are in Wisconsin, so that was probably legal.

We tried MANY style to hold the club.  Can you believe that Parker, Brandon, Logan, Zoe and Aiden each got a hole in one?

We ate dinner at Moosejaw Pizza & Dells Brewing Company.  We LOVE our antlers.

Daddy enjoyed his sampler of beer, except for the Milk Stout.

After dinner, we headed back to the water park. Can you tell that we are excited?

A quick shot with Mommy, just in case, before she headed down some big slides with Gail.

Emery LOVED just laying back and floating in the water.  He especially loved that he could float just far enough away to kick his feet and splash all over.

Before the night was over, Mommy took Aiden down a couple of water slides on inner tubes.  We tried one that was really dark, but not quite as fast and one that was lighter but really fast.  Can you guess which one he liked the best?  We were the last ones to leave the park at 9 PM.  What a great time!

The Great Wolf Lodge

We made it back from dinner in time for the Clock Tower show and PJ Storytime!

We were so excited to meet up with Zoe, that we had to sit as close as possible to her!

At the end of story time, they taught us how to HOWL!

We got to meet the mascots!  (Parker was a little too afraid, perhaps on Monday night…)

To finish off the night, we took a few minutes to look at the water park that we get to play at in the morning.  We are SO excited!

Cave of the Mounds

Today, we decided to stop in Dodgeville, Wisconsin for lunch.  After lunch, we headed to Blue Mound, Wisconsin.  We decided it would be fun to see some caves!

First, we mined.

We discovered fossils and arrowheads!

Next stop, the guided tour!

Daddy caring Emery, but Emery wasn't too excited by that.

Mommy decided to have a go, but he just wanted to be fed and not looking around in a dark cave!

We were really good and had a great time exploring the cave.  We even kept our hands off of everything except the handrails, just like the tour guide told us to!

By the end, I was getting a little cold.

Emery finally fell asleep, about 2 minutes before the tour was over.
