Birthday Balloons

I was SO excited this morning when I woke up and saw all of the balloons that Mom and Dad put in my room for my birthday.  I brought most of the upstairs balloons into Mom and Dad's room and had a great time playing this game while they got ready for the day!

Bike

Grandma Jo and Mom and Dad decided that it was about time for me to get a bike.  Thanks for the early birthday present!

Color Run

Well, this was suppose to be a family day, but it was much to cold for Emery, and since Grandma Jo was going to watch him, Aiden and Parker decided that they would rather play with her as well.  Sorry Brandon, you still have to do this with me! 

A good portion of our team.  I think we ended up with 28 people on our team.  It was a lot of fun to friends from all aspects of my life come together and do something fun!

Thanks for going with me Brandon.  (Note, he said he had fun and would actual go back and do this with me again next year!!!  Hopefully, it will be a bit warmer so the entire family can participate!)

Family Fun Day

Family Fun day concluded with a little bit of quite time at home. 

 

Daddy and Aiden finished reading "My Father's Dragon."  Aiden really enjoyed having two copies of it from the library, so he could look at the map in one, while they read in the other.  What a great day!

Big Creek Park

We have gone out to Big Creek several times and just played in the grass, but we've been told of a HUGE wooden playground there as well.  We decided we should check it out.

Emery thought the tire swing was pretty cool.

Parker loved to explore and see what different things he could walk on.

Emery also thought it was great to pick up the wood chips from one side of the playground and move them over to the sand side of the playground!

Science Experiement

Mom let us play with some science today!  We mixed vinegar, food coloring, and dish soap in our containers, then we dumped in the baking soda...looking, instant color foam bubbles!  Can we do this again?

Flag Football

The kids were so excited after flag football, that it quickly became tackle your brother football.

1 Year WCE

Emery had his 1 year well check exam this morning.  He did not like the 4 shots and the hour it took us to wait for a blood draw.  He also will not let us touch his legs without crying.  Poor child!  His stats are 23lbs 13 oz (84%), 30.5 inches long (75%), 18.75 inch head circumference (88%).  He's getting quite big, but it seems that he just might be starting to slow down on growing...at least for the time being...

Weird Sleeping Habbits

This is how I fell asleep during a time out today.  Yep, my head is on Aiden's bed and my legs are on my own bed.
