Coconuts

We invited Hunter and Holden over for some play time.  First up, Coconuts!

Miniature Golf

 

 

The kids want to make sure we get a round of Miniature Golf in before school starts.  Everyone had a great time.

Ames Play Date

 

 

We are showing the Quandts how much we love Reiman Gardens this morning.

Of course, we had to take them to Hickory Park afterwards.

 

Mom and Julie thought they would be crazy and round out the afternoon with a couple games of bowling.  (perhaps 1 game would have been enough.....)

Zoo

 

We love going out on the African limb of the zoo and playing drums!

The front tree has become a place the kids love to climb.

10 Minutes

How long will it takes us to go through ALL of these water balloons?

10 minutes, and they are gone!

Saylorville Lake Visitor Center

Zoe and Logan told us about story time at the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center.  We also invited the Quandts to check it out with us.

Story time was all about moose.  For the craft, we made moose out of pipe cleaners!

Afterwards, we thought we should take the Quandts down to the water.

 

The kids had a great time playing for hours by the water!

Marion

We headed to AirFX with Uncle Mike and his family!

Uncle Mike helped us on the tight rope.

What could we be building?

We all had a great time breaking down the wall.

Mommy had a fun time catching us and getting it all on video!

Parker decided to go in the foam pit a different way!

We all enjoyed the slide.

Our family took over the trampolines with the balls. 

Emery and Leah really liked to hold hands and walk around together.

Coralville

First up on our mini vacation, the Children's Museum in Coralville.

 

The kids had a great time.

All of the boys loved watching the trains that went through a few different rooms.

Parker had a great time playing with these life size connector toys. 

After the children's museum, we headed to our hotel for some swimming time.  The boys loved going between the cold and the hot pools.

Games while we waited for dinner.

 

Water and root beer at the same time!

We found this big rooster close to our hotel.  Seemed like a great thing to let the kids climb on.
