E: Question mark!
M: No, actually, that is an exclamation mark.
E: Extra pointy mark!

Box

Emery was digging into this new box of ziploc bags and I asked him what he was doing.  His response, "I want the blueberries!"  Sorry kiddo, no blueberries in there.....

Beautiful Hair

Aiden: Mom, your hair is beautiful.
Mom: Thank you, Aiden
Aiden: I really like this part right here that is shiny white. It is hair, but it is ALL white.

Conversation

Mommy:  Parker, how are you feeling?
Parker:  Good
Mommy:  Do your ears hurt?
Parker:  Yeah..........but only when Aiden talks....

Chucky Cheese

 
Owen's birthday party at Chucky Cheese was so much fun!  We got to ride on rides and

play lots of games!

And what's a birthday party, without some PIZZA!   We hope we get to come back here again soon!

Mommy:  "Aiden, you need to sit in time out for a period of time."
Aiden: "A period shows that a sentence is over."

Conversations with a Preschooler

Before preschool....
Mommy: Aiden, what starts with the letter A that you want to take to preschool this afternoon?
Aiden: An anteater
Mommy: But we don't have an anteater, perhaps we can find something that we have.
Aiden: Maybe we could go to the forest and catch an anteater so I could take it to preschool.
Mommy: Umm...I'm pretty sure that we don't have any anteaters around here, and I'm not sure that they even live in forests. Perhaps we could find your airplane to take with you.
Aiden: Okay

After preschool...
Mommy:  Aiden, while you were at preschool, I looked up some information about anteaters.
Aiden:  Really, where do they live?
Mommy:  Not around here, but they live in rain forests
Aiden:  See, I told you they lived in the forest.  I was right!

Tee Ball Conversation

So, we bought another baseball glove today for Parker. Now, Aiden and Parker can both practice tee ball in the backyard together.  The boys were very excited by this, and many conversation have been had about tee ball.  This has to be the funniest!  I think we can credit this one to Papa and G-G!

Mommy: "After you hit the ball, do you think you are going to practice running bases tonight with Daddy?"
Aiden: "Do we have bases at home?"
Mommy:  "No, but we can pretend that other things are bases.  Perhaps you could run to a tree like it's a base, just to practice."
Parker: "No, we only pee on trees."

All I need to know, I learned from Dinosaur Train.....

Aiden: Mommy, what's this dinosaur
Mommy: It's a brachiosaurus.
Aiden: What's that?
Mommy: I think it's like a bronotosaurus.
Aiden: Let's turn on Dinosaur Train to find out!

Paint

Aiden: Mommy! Our teacher let us paint with water bottles today!
Me: Yes, you have very special teachers, don't you?
Aiden: Yes, they are very special, but you are not. You don't let me paint with water bottles!

and so it begins.....

Mommy: Aiden, are you a cool dude with your sunglasses?

Aiden: Not now! (glasses are in his hands) 

Mommy: Oh, are you a cool dude when you wear your glasses?

Aiden: Yeah, you are a cool big dude.

Mommy: No, Daddy is a cool big dude, Mommy is a cool dudet.

Aiden: Why, because you don't have a penis?
