Birthday Morning

Guess who is 3 now!  I started the morning with getting a birthday present! Joel and Kathilene stayed over last night, so we went to the machine shed for breakfast.  Yummy!



When we were done eating, we went on a tractor ride. It was great!

Park

We have been going to more park in the month of October than we were able to all summer. This is great. Today, we met up with Zoe, Dalton, Holden, and Caleb.

Parker was adventurous this morning! He made it another step higher and then needed a little bit of help to dive up onto the platform.

Parker is teething again and spent most of the time with Mommy, but he did play a little by himself as well.

Muscle

I get my muscles from my Dad and also from drinking chocolate syrup.


For some reason, Mommy doesn't seem to be too happy with me!


She seemed to be a little madder when she found that I had also poured some on Parker's head. I don't know why - he didn't seem to care!

Dinosaur Train

I LOVE Dinosaur Train. I love it so much that when I woke up from my nap today, I had to put on my Buddy comstume and watch my show! I've even been sleeping with my dinosaur feet on as much as Mommy will let me!

Dinosaur - ROAR

Joe and I were acting like dinosaurs.

Joe seems to be a little bit bigger dinosaur than me right now!

Luckily, he is a very nice dinosaur and played Hi-Ho Cherry-O with Allison, Mommy and me.

Hamburger

I'm going to be a hamburger for Halloween. I wanted to show Joe my costume while he was in town.


Only problem is, he tried to eat me!


Allison also tried to steal my costume, but it just didn't fit her the same!

Road

Look closely at all the roads I built with Mommy's scrapbooking adhesive. Boy was that a lot of fun!

Red Park

We saw this park on the way to the park we went to yesterday, and it is as much fun as we thought it would be!

The bulldozer was a lot of fun to play on!

I'm trying to swing like Aiden does. I don't have it quite down yet, but I will soon!

Park

We brought Daddy to the park with the ducks today to have a little picnic, but first we played in the sand,

climbed all over the playground,

and had a lot of time to swing.


We even got Mommy to play with us! We hope we have more warm fall days to enjoy!

Birthday Playgroup

Caleb and I share a birthday, so we had a birthday party for playgroup today. We all ate a lot of pizza, cake, and ice cream and had a LOT of fun!

Park

Daddy thought we should go to a park tonight. Two parks in one day - AWESOME!

I showed off my new found skills of hanging and swinging.

We also discovered a spider that we named "Spider Sam". We had to say goodbye to him every time we went down the slide. We were sad to leave him, but daddy says he needs to stay at his own home. I hope we have more nice double park days in the near future!

Ducks

Look at this slide! I did it all by myself a few times. I am very brave!

Zoe was nice enough to share her sand toys with us.

Parker only wanted to watch the ducks and say, "Quack, quack! DUCK!"


Finally we fed the ducks. As you can see, we all have our own ways of feeding/entertaining the ducks!

We ate a nice picnic lunch by the pond with Zoe and Peyton. What a great morning. I hope we go back and feed those ducks again!

Hat

I love popcorn, but tonight I enjoyed saying, "hat" and running around with my bowl on my head even more!

Drinking

What? Isn't this the normal way of drinking milk and signaling to mom that I need more oatmeal, right?

Painting

We started off painting with finger paint, but Parker wasn't so sure about that.

So, we pulled out the paint dot pens. We had a lot of fun and made a HUGE mess. It was worth it though, because mom ended up giving us a nice long bath to get all of the paint off of us!

Doors

I can open doors if they open outwards from where I'm at. There is nothing that can keep me from playing in the sink now!

Hayride and Bonfire

We went to the Buse's house tonight to go on a hayride. We all really enjoyed the ride.


After the hayride, I enjoyed a hot dog without a bun. Parker was trying to go for something a little less kid friendly!


When the bonfire had been lit, it instantly captured our attention.

Trouble

What? Are you going to stop me from being in this drawer, or are you just going to stare me down?

Playgroup

Zoe came over this morning and we went to a park to play. When we got back, we made Gail read to us until lunch was ready! As you can tell, we were all just exhausted after sliding and swinging all morning!
