Bedtime

I am very happy after Aiden's bedtime because then I get Mommy and Daddy all to myself!

Markers

Well, I was getting into everything, so Mommy pulled out a box of markers and opened up a box of diapers to give me something new to color on. It was a lot of fun; I was multicolored before it was all over. I can't wait to color more with the markers. Thanks Grandma for the markers!

Bath Time

As Mommy was getting my bath ready, she left me in my crib, naked. I was so tired that I fell asleep before the bathtub was full of water. Mommy woke me up and took me into the bathtub. She turned around for a second, and I was back asleep in the bathtub!

Unfortunately, Aiden came running in and woke me up before Mommy got a picture.


After I got all clean, Aiden jumped in to play with me. We took turns splashing each other.

The bath sure woke me up.

Story Time

We went to the library for our first story time. I wasn't quite sure what to make of everything, but I sure warmed up when they brought out the markers! I was the last one to leave and I was still very upset that I had to leave. I hope Mommy takes us every week!

Vacation Day 4

It's the last day of vacation so we headed for home. We stopped in Waterloo for a picnic and sang songs about ducks, and other animals, the rest of the way home. We had a lot of fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house, but it's good to be home. Aiden wanted to show off his new bag chair, boots, and Mommy's hat while I just wanted to show off my adorable smile!

Potato digging

Papa showed me how to dig potatoes. It seemed like a lot of work, especially since...

Papa leaned on his shovel most of the time.

I learned that throwing dirt is much more fun than digging potatoes.

Mom and Parker were happy to stay out of the dirt!

Labor Day with the Hagen clan

We visited with the Hagen's this morning. Parker played inside and met 2 week old Daniel.

I was much more interested in playing outside in the kayak (BOOOOOOAAAAT!). I haven't been in many boats, but I was disappointed on how slow it was...that is until...

Vacation - Day 2

Happy Birthday to....all 3 of us!


We got together to celebrate L.A.'s 3rd birthday and Lawrence and Aiden's 2nd birthday. It was a lot of fun watching them eat their cakes. They were all actually pretty neat. As you can see, they stayed in their same clothes to go to the park.


We went up to the new playground equipment at the school after eating our cake. Many of the adults played with all of the kids. As you can see, the slide stayed pretty full...I don't think it could fit anymore people!


Aiden learned how to go down the fireman's pole. He thought that was pretty neat.


We got a picture taken on the x-wave before everyone jumped on. Check out the video to see how much fun Daddy had! Don't worry, Aiden and I jumped off before all the adults started playing!

We tried to get a quick photo with Great-Grandpa Leiran, but it was getting a little too close to nap time for the other 3 boys.

Vacation Day 1

We are on vacation and made it up to Waterville today. Uncle Jim invited us over for dinner. The food was great, but we had a lot more fun playing with our cousins!

My New Friend

I found a new friend outside today while I was mowing. I followed him for quite awhile; I even had to get down on my hands and knees to see him go under the car. I thought you might think I was imagining things, so I took a picture of him up close...


...before I stepped on him. Dad says I'm 100% boy.

Go State!

We're all dressed up in our Iowa State gear for the game tonight.

Exersaucer

I love playing in my exersaucer. Not only do I get to stand on my feet, I also get to see whats going on in this crazy house!

BBQ

Michael and Emily invited all of us over for a BBQ. Aunt Emily sure had her hands full with Aiden and Elana. Aiden really liked giving her hugs!

Uncle Mike kept it nice and calm with me, but with Aiden on the other hand....

well, he got spun in circles.  Most of the time, he was clapping while being spun!

 
I wanted to check out the grass, but everyone seemed to be checking me out with my new ability of sitting.  I can do it for a short period of time, but I enjoy practicing every day!

Bathroom Fun

I was suppose to be brushing my teeth, but I fit just perfectly in the sink!


As you can see, I did brush my teeth a little bit.
