Trick or Treating

We went over to Zoe's house for trick or treating.  We colored together before dinner and then it was time to get all dressed up!  Zoe and I were Buddy from Dinosaur Train on PBS, and Parker was a cheeseburger.

We received MANY compliments on our costumes.  Our Grandmas sure did a good job of making them for us!  Many people also thought we were twins.  Can you tell which one is Zoe and which one is me? I'm on the right!

Here I'm on the left trying to go up for seconds!

My charming smile often got me at least 2 pieces of candy at a house, if not more!

The whole family! We had a great time trick or treating. Thanks for having us over Hutchinsons!

Logging

I found this John Deere Skidder from when Mommy worked at JD Davenport Works. Mommy turned on some videos so I could see a skidder in action. When the videos were done, Mommy went outside and got some logs for me to round up and skid around. Awesome! As you can see, I had to move them quickly because the logs fell in front of a firetruck that was off to a fire.

Dinosaur Balloons

My favorite thing from Aiden's birthday party are the dinosaur balloons that I get to wrestle with; I think I won!

Playing Outside

The weather is so nice that we called Daddy to bring home dinner, so Mommy could take us outside to play!

We both love to swing, we just have different techniques!

As always, the slide is a hit!

We sure hope that this winter is warm and quick so we can play at our "park" a LOT!

Spooky Story Time

Before story time, Mr. Cheeseburger and Buddy are all smiles!

Both paraded around the library all by themselves with all the other little creatures!

Janet did lots of activities today and read us a book. It was Spooktacular! We sure LOVE our library!

Tired

I haven't been feeling the best and that makes me tired. I slept in the car going to pick up Aiden from preschool,

and I also took a VERY long nap today. I hope I feel better soon!

Halloween Preschool

I dressed up as a fireman for preschool today.

Pumpkins!

Papa and G-G helped us with our pumpkins!

For some reason, we didn't sit by our own pumpkins, but even Lars was up for taking a picture!

Ashby Park

After breakfast, we headed to Ashby Park to get some play time in. I headed straight for the swings while Aiden played on all of the equipement

Daddy and Aiden pretended they were trains and ran around the splash park. I hope we come back here next summer when there is actually some water!

Before we left, Aiden decided that he would swing with me. G-G put us in the swings so we could see each other. That was a lot of fun!

Breakfast

I like chocolate chip pancakes, but they are a lot of work to pick out each chocolate chip. I don't know why Mommy didn't just order them on the side for me!

When Parker had finished eating, he found that you can make a really good drum out of a spoon and a sippy cup. Why didn't I think of that?

Baby Holden

We love babies! Both of us really like our new cousin Holden. We really like to look at him and give him lots of kisses on his cheek!

3rd Birthday Party

Since we had a dinosaur train theme for my birthday party, Mommy let me open my presents wearing my buddy costume!

I am so good at blowing out candles that I had to do it twice!

Parker helped Papa and Kurt set up our new swing set. Hopefully, we have a lot more warm days left this year to get some time in at the "park".

Before bedtime, Allison helped me set up my tent. What a great day! I hope everyone comes back and plays with me again soon!

Super Parker

Super Parker is here to get the house vacuumed before Aiden's birthday party.

October Birthdays

Papa shares an October birthday with me, so we celebrated tonight with a pumpkin pie.

Yeah, we tried it out before it was cut. It was good enough for everyone to have a piece!

Doctor's Appointment

We went to the doctor's office this morning for my 3 year well check exam. I am a BIG boy! I weighed in at 34lbs (72 percentile) and I am 37.5 inches tall (50 percentile). I only had to get one shot today - my flu shot. Luckily, they gave me this REALLY cool CARS band-aid that stopped my crying instantly! Parker got his flu shot as well, but the band-aid didn't seem to stop his crying :-(

Preschool

Now that I'm 3, Mommy and Daddy thought I'd like to go to preschool every once in a while.

My school is located at a park in Urbandale. I love the acorns all over the ground outside.

Inside, I didn't even want to say good-bye to Mommy or Parker because it looked like way too much fun!

While I was in school, Mommy and Parker went to story time and then came back and played at the park waiting for me. Parker told me all about the squirrels that loved to watch! I can't wait until I get to go back to preschool next week!

Potty Training????

Yeah, so I told Mommy earlier today that I needed to go potty, but she didn't get me there fast enough to use the potty. Tonight, she took me to the potty after bedtime snack and guess what?!?!?! I went pee-pee in the potty! Perhaps I'll be potty trained even faster than Aiden was!

Birthday Cake

Look at the cake I picked out!

It tastes just as great as it looked! I love birthdays (and cake)!

Birthday Morning

Guess who is 3 now!  I started the morning with getting a birthday present! Joel and Kathilene stayed over last night, so we went to the machine shed for breakfast.  Yummy!

When we were done eating, we went on a tractor ride. It was great!
