Let the Adventure Begin!

Brandon has to work this week, so I'll be exploring a little without him.  Going for a walk this morning looking for the train station.  Aren't the buildings just beautiful here?

I thought Emery would love this little car.

Okay, so the directions I got to the train station were awful and I got VERY lost, but I was so thankful to see this church.  It's just outside our hotel and suddenly I wasn't lost anymore!

A friend asked me to look for a couple games for her.  I loved looking around this toy store!

Burg Eltz - Germany!

 

The plane landed a little early, 5:45 AM German time! In order to try

our best at staying awake until bedtime, we decided to check out Berg Eltz.

This castle is amazing. It was not bombed in the war so it is

REALLY old. It was really funny when they say, "We had to replace this

ceiling back in the 1700's!

Brandon wouldn't quite fit into this Knight uniform!  We are so excited to be here and can't wait to see where else our travels will take us!

Ankeny Parade

We met up with the Hutchinson's this morning for the Ankeny parade!  We were anxiously waiting!

Of course, the fire trucks were a hit.

So were the Clydesdale!

Someone really liked all the old cars that drove by!  What a great parade!
