Aiden needed to check out a religious monument for cub scouts.  We found this Buddhist Peace Garden and a nice enough day to go visit!

 

Everyone enjoyed looking at the different marble statues.

All of the statues had different animals with them.  The boys really liked this elephant!

Sick Boy

Home sick from school and this boy is all smiles because I told him that he wouldn't have to do any chores today!

Basketball

Parker's first basketball game!  They line the kids up every time they come in to play to match the kids up by height and let them know who they are guarding.

Parker takes guarding VERY seriously!

He really likes to be down low and to go for rebounds.  He even caused several jump balls today!

Aiden's first game of basketball.  He sat out to begin with and didn't even pay attention to his teammates.  They were just spinning balls on the sidelines until one went flying across the floor and it was time for them to get in the game.

Aiden was all about throwing the ball in.  (He's wearing white in the far left rear of picture trying to figure out who to throw the ball in to)

I really didn't get very good pictures at Aiden's game.  He's in the center, wearing white, with the ball trying to decide to shoot or to pass.  This is the first year that we have played basketball, but the boys absolutely LOVE it.  Now, we just need to talk Dad into putting up a basketball hoop in our driveway!

Sick Day

Both big boys have been acting a little out of character and both complained that their stomachs hurt this morning, so I kept them home from school.  They played with their snap circuits ALL day.  Perhaps they came up with this plan together....

Merry Christmas from the Broadstons!

All ready to see what Santa brought!  Today, we are celebrating Christmas with the Broadstons.

Santa treated us VERY well this year.

The highlight of the weekend was certainly  holding baby Cade!

I had so much fun, that I slept the whole way home holding my new Spiderman truck!

Merry Christmas from the Fegleys!

Today, the Fegley family got together to celebrate Christmas.  Cade was ready to party!

Holden got to open a game early for the kids to play with.  He was very excited!

Mom made this quilt for Aunt Emily.  She loves it!

Waiting

This kid will be happy waiting just about anywhere, as long as he has a book with him.

Lunch Date

Today, we had a lunch date with Hayden!

Emery drew this picture today and asked us what it was.  We could not guess what this was.  Can you?  Okay, so it's an X-Box!

Piano Lessons

Parker played this duet at his last lesson, but I missed it with a sleeping Emery in the van.  He wanted to play it again this week and catch it on video.

I also caught him playing Home on the Range with his teacher.  He has come a long way in only 1 year of lessons.  I can't wait to see where he is at next year!

Swimming Lessons

The boys all started swimming lessons this morning.

Bodee's Birthday Party

Chemistry

Emery wanted to work on his Chemistry set today.  They other boys jumped right in with him.

Sewing

 

Parker and Aiden have shown interest in quilting, so we got them a small sewing machine that they can use to make their own quilts.  Parker has really taken to sewing today.

Clive Greenbelt Park

  

This morning, we went to see the new star wars movie.  Afterwards, we went out for lunch.  Then we decided that we should go for a little walk on the trails by Clive Greenbelt Park.  We walked until we found the playground.

 

We are glad the weather was warm enough that we could play and have lots of fun outside in the snow today.  We'll have to come back here again another day.
