The BFG

The boys were promised that we'd go to see the BFG in the movie theater....we looked it up this morning and realized that today was the last day it was in theaters, so we headed to the movie theater. 

Parker was thrilled, because Sylvie from his class was also at the movie theater with her Grandma!

Last Day of Swimming Lessons

 

We had a great time taking swimming lessons with the Quandts (and not pictured, the Gerstenbergers)!

We decided to go out for some Chinese food to celebrate completing swimming lessons!

And...well....I couldn't say no to Frozen yogurt, either!

Mowing

Aiden wanted to try mowing the yard.

Lake Elmo

We walked to a park in the neighborhood and found a Ga Ga ball pit.  We had no idea what it was, so we googled it and started playing.  We had a ton of fun!

We also got to play in their new pool!  The whole thing isn't quite ready, but we made do...

ICubs Game

We got tickets to our first Icubs game and brought Grandma Jo along with us!

We also had every type of baseball food imaginable!

This boy will not lay down for a nap, unless you ask him to curl up with you, then he's out cold!

Musical Carrots

These carrots made different pitches that you could hear in the headphones when you touched them - completing the circuit!  The boys loved this at the Johnston Library.

Someone made a huge mess of perler beads and was told that he had to stay here until he cleaned them up....he ended up falling asleep instead!

STEM Classes

 

We are taking a STEM class at school this week.  We love playing with all of the marbles to make mazes and ramps!

New Playground

We were really checking out the new playground equipment at South Prairie!  We totally approve of all of it!

Heading Home

It's been a great trip spent with family, but...

the boys are exhausted, and it's time to head home.

 

Thanks to Aunt Diane for the awesome tent, now we can camp out at home!

Cinnamon Challenge

Guitar Time

I enjoyed listening to Sarah play some guitar tonight.  Normally, I miss out because I need to get the kids to bed, but tonight Sarah was looking for some place to practice.

Yellow River

It has been so incredibly hot, that Papa and GG thought the boys needed to head over to yellow river to play.  Aiden worked on his cub scout fishing belt loop, and everyone had a great time enjoying the cold water.  I took a lot of pictures and videos to remember how much fun we had!
