Box

Emery was digging into this new box of ziploc bags and I asked him what he was doing. His response, "I want the blueberries!" Sorry kiddo, no blueberries in there.....

Look who's smiling after his 2 year well check, mostly because of the sticker they gave me for being brave! Today, I weighed in at 32.8 lbs (91%) and 36 inches tall (91%). I had to get my flu shot, which I didn't like, but other than that it was a very uneventful appointment. I'm growing like a weed!

Crazy Hair Day

There's not a lot you can do to make your hair crazy when it's short, but we sure liking spraying it different colors!

Early Out

Early out of school today, so we headed to the zoo with Isaiah and Emily. The Rhino was inside today.

We loved watching the sea lions swim by.

We even got to watch them train the sea lions a little bit.

Of course, it's not a playdate with out a few wrestling moves.

Tired

Birthday Traditions

I'm not so sure about these people singing to me at Hickory Park.

Severe Storm

A storm camein REALLY quick and did lots of damage to Grimes. This collage is of damage that was scene at the boys elementary school and the sports complex.

Here is a picture of damge we witnessed around town. Power was out for 23 hours at our house. We were lucky that the damage done to our house was very minimal. The boys enjoyed getting ready for bed by candle light.

School resumed after a couple of days with some modifications. The cafeteria and kitchen received the most damage. They are bringing hot lunch over from another school currently and they are eating in the back half of the gym, leaving the front half for P.E. The music room also received a lot of damage. They are having music on the cart. Hopefully, they can get the school back in tip top shape soon.
