Santa's Workshop

We met up with Isaiah and Emily at Santa's workshop today at Home

Depot.

I'm making a truck to give to Emery.

We even said hi to Santa.

 The adults don't seem to know we are in a hurry.  They are just talking away.

O Christmas Tree

 

We've got the Braodston Christmas in the morning.  I guess we should get the tree set up.

Fegley's. I'm going to be playing all by myself in no time!

Thankful

Today, I am thankful for being able to share a Thanksgiving "snack" with

my parents at school. I love holidays where Mom and Dad get to see all

the cool stuff I do at school.

We met Santa today! We even got to ride the train after telling Santa

about all the toys we want for Christmas!

Hot Chocolate

The first snowfall of the season calls for some hot chocolate!

Central Iowa Wind Ensemble's Children Concert

Do these monkey's look like they are ready for a concert?

Parker really enjoyed the first half.

 
At the end, they let us come up and conduct the wind ensemble.  On the left Aiden is conducting and on the right Parker is conducting.  It got a little crazy as the concert was a good two hours long.  It really helped that for the last couple of songs there was a magician, a boy riding a unicycle, a juggler, and a clown!  Aiden really wants to play the french trumpet now!  I guess I have some work to do...

Lunch Date

Mommy took us shopping and we were so good that she let us eat lunch at Costco.

My parents don't read to me nearly enough.  I often find myself reading myself bedtime stories!

The Longest Trip EVER

Look at us read books while Mommy is folding laundry and packing up to go to Papa and GG's house.  We can't wait to Trick-or-Treat there!

 
First stop, lunch at Hickory Park.

By the time we hit Cedar Falls, I had been crying for a good hour because my ears hurt.  We made a stop at Urgent care followed by trick or treating and dinner while we waited for perscriptions at Hy-Vee.  I trick-or-treated while riding in the shopping cart.

We finally made it to Papa and GG's house after everyone else had gone to bed.  We'll have to show off our costumes tomorrow.  For now, it's time for bed.

Jack-o-lantern

We worked together to carve one really awesome pumpkin this year.  Parker did a great job of pulling out seeds.

Emery wasn't so sure, even with Daddy showing him how.

Then Daddy tried to get the boys to eat the pumpkin insides and Mommy ended up getting the rest of the guts out of the pumpkin.
