Messy Food

Well, everyone knows that I LOVE food. I also LOVE to smear it all over my face and into my eyes. I sure do get messy, but that is most of the fun!

Disc Golf

I went on my first disc golf outing where I could actually play with the discs a little bit. I got a little confused about what was suppose to actually go in the basket......

Cat food

My favorite thing is trying to get to Bandits cat food. For some reason, I will do anything to get to it. This time, since it was blocked off from the normal direction to get to it, I went all of the way around the table and past the blinds and chair to get to it. There is no stopping me.

8 months old

Can you believe that I am 8 months old today? I'm getting SO BIG!

Allison came and visited me yesterday. She even played in the grass with me. As you can see, I really like to eat the grass. Thanks for visiting me Allison. I hope that you will be living close to me soon so I can see you more often!

Happy Father's Day

Since we stayed over night in Maquoketa, I got to spend Father's day with Daddy, Grandpa, and that's Great Grandpa Flap Jack in the background.

Joel and Kathilene's wedding

Well, Joel and Kathilene got married this weekend. Here is a picture of the happy couple at the rehearsal dinner.












Here is a picture of Ben holding me. He was my buddy this weekend. I can't wait until his little girl is born. Ben has already told me that I will have to show her the ropes at Iowa State as I will be there a year before her. Don't worry Ben, I got her covered!

This is me during the actual ceremony. I still fit into my tux, however I was hot so I was much happier after the ceremony when Grandpa and Grandma changed me into some much cooler clothes. Thanks Grandpa for playing with me during the ceremony!

We ended up staying an extra day in Maquoketa as the flooding closed all of our roads to get home. What a trip! I was so glad when we finally made it home. I had so much fun crawling around and chasing Bandit.

Iowa State wedding singers????

Well, it was quite apparent at the rehearsal dinner that this was going to be an ISU wedding when several members of the wedding party broke out into The Bells of Iowa State.

Stair Climbing

So, I guess there was some disbelief that I could indeed crawl up stairs, so here's the proof. I kept thinking that Mommy was going to stop me, but she didn't. She just told me to wait until Wednesday when the gate for the bottom of the stairs arrive!

Oranges - YUMMY

I LOVE oranges! They might be messy, but I really like oranges! It's a good thing that I also LOVE the bathtub!

Smoking crochet hooks?

I sure like playing with Mommy's crochet hooks. Mommy told me that I could keep playing with them, as long as I didn't start smoking them.

Joe is back in town

I'm feeling a little under the weather today. I had a temp of 100 degrees this afternoon. We were going to go out to eat with Joe, but since I wasn't feeling so well, Joe brought pizza over. That was nice, so I could just stay home and be held. I even let Joe hold me for awhile. Hopefully I will be feeling better tomorrow. Good night!

Climbing

Today, I figured out how to crawl up the first couple of stairs. It wasn't hard, especially since I really wanted to get to Mommy and she was upstairs. Mommy and Daddy didn't get any good photos of my climbing, but here are a few of me once I got up to the landing ( 2 steps up).

I was so proud of myself that when they put me back down at the bottom, I climbed up to the landing again! Mommy and Daddy seem to think they need gates or something.....

Fast as Lightning

I wanted to show all of my grandparents and aunts and uncles just how fast I've gotten at this crawling thing. When I want something, I go for it. I even lift my tummy off the ground most of the time now!

31 weeks

Well, once again I've been BUSY! Laura came to visit, and I showed her how I can do push-ups!

I just wish I could stand without having to have furniture around to pull myself up on.

I keep so active that I have to eat and eat and eat. I still don't really like fruits, but I like my veggies and oatmeal.

When all is said and done, I need my sleep......sometimes I fall asleep before I get to my bed.

Aiden - 7 months old

Today I'm 7 months old. A lot has been going on with me in the last couple of weeks. I made the move from being able to get up on my knees to crawl, to pulling myself up and standing. I've decided that crawling on m knees is not fun. I'd rather crawl with my feet and my hands, or to have someone hold my hands and walk around. Yesterday, I made it through an obstacle course, although mom told me that it was really a dinner chair. I'm into everything now! I'm hoping to figure out cruising this week...we'll see..
